An engineer, entrepreneur and ecosystem builder, Benoît Dubuis has spent more than thirty years moving between science, technology, industry and entrepreneurship. After a career in the pharmaceutical industry, he joined EPFL, where he founded the School of Life Sciences and became its first dean. He went on to co-found Eclosion, Switzerland's first incubator and seed fund dedicated to the life sciences, before directing Campus Biotech in Geneva and developing numerous initiatives designed to bring knowledge and action closer together. President of SATW and of the Fondation Inartis, he works today on the conditions that will allow Switzerland to preserve its technological capability, its competitiveness and its freedom of choice in a fragmenting world. Art, science, technology and communities are, for him, so many ways of observing the world, understanding it and transforming it.
